Analysis of Single-pole Locking Faults in Ultra-High Voltage Converter Stations
-
Abstract
for the single-pole locking fault that occurred at pole I of a ±800kV ultra-high voltage converter station, through event recording, fault principle analysis, waveform detection and other means, it was determined that the cause of the fault was that the instantaneous disturbance of the DC line led to abnormal measurement values of the two sets of current transformers at the beginning of the DC filter, and the three sets of current measurement values of the DC line CT were all abnormal. The measurement inaccuracy of photoCT under the condition of rapid transient high current is the core cause. This article elaborates in detail on the process of fault occurrence, the principle of protection action and the results of abnormal detection, preliminarily analyzes the causes of abnormal photoCT measurement, and puts forward targeted rectification suggestions, providing a reference for the safe operation of ultra-high voltage converter stations.(与中文对应)
