Abstract
High-voltage frequency converters, as crucial equipment in modern industrial automation systems, possess significant advantages in energy conservation, consumption reduction, and system regulation. During operation, any malfunction in a high-voltage frequency converter can directly affect the normal operation of the equipment and endanger the safety of the unit. Overcurrent protection action of high-voltage frequency converters is a common fault, and there are numerous reasons for overcurrent. This article explores the overcurrent protection that occurred during the startup process of a high-voltage feedwater pump frequency converter in a power plant, analyzes the principles and causes of overcurrent protection for the high-voltage feedwater pump frequency converter, and proposes startup optimization measures, providing a reference for the stable operation of similar equipment.
