Research on Economic Dispatch Strategy for Distribution Networks Incorporating Distributed Generation

  • With the increasing penetration of Distributed Generation (DG) in 10kV distribution networks, its operational status directly impacts the economic dispatch of the distribution system. To further enhance the operational economy of distribution networks containing DG, this paper establishes an economic dispatch optimization model aiming to minimize the total network loss rate. Utilizing an Improved Genetic Algorithm and an Improved Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm for solution, an economic dispatch strategy is derived. This strategy encompasses the optimization of tap settings for 110kV main transformer and 10kV distribution transformers, DG output power, and capacitor bank switching. Finally, a case study verifies that the proposed economic dispatch optimization strategy demonstrates strong effectiveness and economic value.
