Research on Fire Protection Pipe Network Reconstruction Design and Fluid Simulation of Energy Storage Power Station
-
Abstract
Lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO?) battery energy storage power stations are widely used, but thermal runaway in these batteries can easily lead to safety incidents. This paper takes a 100 MW/400 MWh energy storage power station as its research subject. By analyzing its fire risk characteristics, a multi-tiered fire protection system was developed, and the design of the fire suppression piping network, fluid simulation, and application validation were completed. Fluid simulation confirmed that the piping network design is scientifically sound and reasonable, while on-site testing demonstrated that pipe connections are reliable and system interlocks meet standards. Through practical fire drills, a fire safety assurance system that emphasizes both technology and management has been established, capable of effectively reducing fire-related losses.
