Abstract
In order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid in Inner Mongolia, it is imperative to study the potential security and stability issues in Chifeng area of Inner Mongolia, given the possible operation modes after the commissioning of the pumped storage power station planned to be built in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia and in combination with the current situation of the power grid in Chifeng, Inner Mongolia. This study analyzes the regional thermal stability and synchronous stability issues through the tool PSD-BPA for power system analysis of the China Electric Power Research Institute, verifies the short-circuit ratio of new energy, and analyzes the frequency of voltage DC fault locking in the Northeast Power Grid. Potential risks are identified, and an optimized coordination scheme and equipment configuration for security and stability control measures are proposed. It is of practical to study the power transmission from Chifeng area and improve the safe and stable operation of the power grid.
