Analysis and Treatment of Heat Generation along Bolts of 220kV Transformer Box
-
Abstract
This paper introduces an abnormal heating phenomenon of the bolts along the edge of the high-voltage side box of a 220kV transformer. After analysis, it is found that the heating is caused by the eddy current along the edge of the box due to leakage magnetic flux. By paralleling copper material current guide plates, the current of the bolts is reduced, thereby lowering the temperature of the bolts.
