Research on Energy-saving Control of Modular Air Conditioning Cabinet System in Subway Stations

  • This study focuses on the modular air conditioning cabinet system in subway stations, aiming to reduce system energy consumption and enhance energy utilization efficiency through the implementation of comprehensive energy-saving control strategies to support the sustainable development of urban rail transit. The research primarily unfolds from three aspects: the application of intelligent control technology, equipment optimization, and operation management optimization. In terms of intelligent control technology, the study introduces real-time monitoring and feedback control logic based on sensors such as temperature and humidity, and applies intelligent algorithms such as fuzzy control, neural networks, and genetic algorithms for optimization control to achieve adaptive adjustment of the system under different operating conditions. Equipment optimization measures include selecting high-efficiency fans and carrying out frequency conversion retrofits, upgrading refrigeration and heating equipment (such as using magnetic levitation compressors and air source heat pumps), and dynamically optimizing the proportion of fresh air intake based on air quality monitoring. Operation management optimization involves developing an operation schedule that combines passenger flow and seasonal characteristics, as well as establishing a regular maintenance system. Taking the renovation project of the airport station on the Wenzhou City Railway Line S1 as an example, through the implementation of specific energy-saving control logic such as adding frequency conversion intelligent regulation for cooling tower fans, intelligent linkage control for air conditioning cabinets, and precise maintenance of pressure difference for chilled water pumps using frequency conversion, the system achieved significant energy-saving effects. The results show that the comprehensive application of the above strategies can achieve an energy efficiency rate of about 20% in spring and autumn, about 10% in summer. and an estimated annual comprehensive energy-saving rate of 15%, while ensuring comfort in the station environment and enhancing operational stability. The study concludes that the integrated solution of intelligent control, equipment upgrading, and management optimization can effectively reduce the energy consumption of the modular air conditioning cabinet system in subway stations. Future research in this field will continue to develop towards a more intelligent, efficient, and green direction.
