Cases Analysis and Preventive Measures for False Tripping during Protection Transformation

During the protection transformation, the false tripping event of the operating circuit breaker poses a great threat to the power system. This paper introduces two typical cases of false tripping in protection transformation, finds out the causes of false tripping through on-site inspection and message analysis, analyzes the formation factors of the causes of the same type of false tripping, and puts forward preventive measures.
