Simulation Study on a New Type of Hydrogen-Electric Hybrid Microgrid System

Abstract
The randomness and volatility of solar energy result in poor controllability of the output power of photovoltaic power generation systems. This paper constructs a photovoltaic/battery/hydrogen production/fuel cell hybrid microgrid system with a common DC bus structure, and builds its simulation model in Matlab/Simulink according to the mathematical models of different sub-units. Combined with the operating characteristics of the hybrid system, an energy management strategy for the hybrid system is proposed to ensure the balance of energy flow among different sub-units in the hybrid system. Simulation experiments on the operating state of the hybrid system are carried out, and the experimental results verify the correctness of the simulation model and the effectiveness of the control strategy.
