Research on Development Pathways and Demonstration Scenarios of Municipal New Power System

  • Traditional energy cities face the dual constraints of energy depletion and low-carbon transformation, making the transition to the new power system particularly arduous. This paper takes Jining, a typical coal-resource-based city, as a case study to analyze the connotations and challenges of the new power system, and proposes a municipal-level development pathway. This pathway relies on coordinated efforts across the five dimensions of "source, grid, load, storage, and digitalization", and is validated through a series of demonstration projects, including active support from distributed photovoltaics, integrated "wind-solar-storage-transmission" systems, and park-level smart microgrids, thus forming a closed loop from top-level design to practical verification. This paper aims to distill replicable solutions and provide actionable guidance for the transformation of similar cities.
