Portable Intelligent Electric Energy Meter Tester Based On FPGA

Abstract
Electric energy meters serve as crucial carriers for electricity billing and energy efficiency management, yet their on-site verification demands stringent requirements for testing instruments. This paper proposes a portable intelligent electric energy meter tester based on FPGA, aimed at addressing the on-site testing needs for electric energy meters. By analyzing the hardware structure and software algorithm logic of the tester, a comprehensive system is ultimately formed. The effectiveness of the design is verified through experiments. Experimental data indicates that the intelligent tester meets the accuracy requirements for electric energy meter testing.
