Research on Optimization Method for Rock Bolt Foundation in UHV Transmission Line Project

  • To meet the construction needs of rock foundation for ultra-high voltage (UHV) lines in mountainous areas and enhance the safety, economy, and environmental performance of rock bolt foundations, this paper combines engineering practices and specifications to analyze the impact of parameters such as slope, overburden, bearing platform, and bolt arrangement, and conducts multi-scheme optimization and comparison. The results show that the overburden should be ≤1.5m when the slope is 35°, and ≤3.5m when the slope is 10°; optimal force distribution and cost can be achieved with bolt spacing of 0.7m, square arrangement of the bearing platform, and reasonable column eccentricity; the middle part of the bolt is not recommended due to poor efficiency and potential stress concentration. This optimized scheme can reduce excavation and building material usage, ensure foundation bearing capacity, and provide reference for the design and construction of similar projects.
