Research on DC/DC Control of Microgrid with Energy Storage Units
-
Abstract
This paper focuses on the bidirectional DC/DC control technology for microgrids integrated with energy storage units. First, the topology of a non-isolated Buck/Boost converter is analyzed, detailing its operating principles during Buck-mode charging and Boost-mode discharging, followed by the establishment of its average model and small-signal model. Then, by comparing the drawbacks of voltage-mode and peak current-mode control, an average current control strategy is selected. Finally, simulation results demonstrate that the proposed control features fast dynamic response and strong disturbance rejection capability. It can achieve stable bidirectional power flow and effectively maintain the stability of the microgrid"s DC bus voltage.
