Expanding Application Strategies for Laser Remote Foreign Object Removal during Live Maintenance
-
Abstract
To address the issues of high risk of climbing, wide impact of power outages, and low response efficiency in the handling of foreign object entanglement on transmission lines, taking the 220 千伏 XX line in a certain area as the research object,a 1000 W continuous fiber laser remote removal system was adopted, combined with the thermal ablation mechanism of fiber lasers, live working safety protection, and multi-scenario parameter adaptive control methods,a closed-loop operation process for identification, positioning, parameter matching, laser output, and effect verification was established. The application results show that this method can complete the removal of foreign objects such as kite lines, plastic films, and shading nets under live conditions, significantly reducing the average handling time, decreasing the number of climbing tower operations, and lowering the risk of unplanned power outages. The research concludes that laser remote foreign object removal is applicable for rapid repair of transmission lines and channel hazard governance, and can enhance the safety of live maintenance and the continuous power supply capacity.
