Analysis of Typical Issues in the Installation of Small Cable Tubes in Nuclear Power Plants and Research on Design Optimization Solutions

Abstract
This study focuses on the cable conduit installation project of a nuclear power unit, systematically analyzing typical issues identified during Unit 1''s construction across four dimensions: compliance with IEEE 384 isolation spacing requirements, adherence to thermal conduit isolation spacing specifications, alignment between physical implementation and design drawings, and aesthetic layout considerations.By establishing a dual-dimensional optimization framework integrating technology and management, we developed comprehensive improvement measures covering the entire process from design to construction and acceptance, which were subsequently implemented and validated based on the progress of Unit 2''s project.Practical experience shows that the improved unit exhibits a reduction in compliance issues by an order of magnitude, while its aesthetically pleasing spatial layout has received high recognition from clients.The research achievements have successfully overcome technical bottlenecks in traditional cable conduit installation, such as challenges in multi-disciplinary coordination and frequent three-dimensional spatial conflicts, resulting in a reusable engineering optimization solution.
