Cause Analysis and Treatment of Oil Leakage in the Grounding Ushing of a 500 kV Transformer in a Pumped Storage Power Station

This paper introduces the oil leakage issue of the core and clamping part bushing on the No.5 500 kV transformer at a pumped storage power station. Through in-depth research and analysis of the structure of the core and clamping part grounding bushing, the main causes of the oil leakage are identified. Targeted guidance measures, including tightening bolts, replacing the plain porcelain bushing, adjusting the verticality of the conductive rod and replacing the seals, are proposed, which provides a solution for addressing the oil leakage problem of transformer grounding bushings.
