Performance Optimization of Gamma Dose Rate Monitors for Area Type III in Nuclear Power Plants

Taking the M310 unit of Fuqing nuclear power plant as an example, this paper elaborates on the system composition and operational maintenance status of the area type III gamma dose rate monitoring channels. In response to the issues observed in practical operation, including high failure rates of detection devices, improper setting of thresholds for certain channels, and insufficient reliability of local processing units, this study analyzed the underlying mechanisms of various failures and implemented performance optimization improvements.
