A Data Access Method for Electric Power Communication Gateway Adapting to the Message Bus

  • In the context of new power systems, traditional power communication gateways cannot meet the emerging operational demands such as distributed deployment and plug-and-play, necessitating a shift from centralized to distributed message bus architectures. Current communication gateway developments typically couple the protocol and message bus components, lacking the capability for rapid interchange between different message buses. To address this, a data access method for power communication gateways adapting message buses is proposed. This approach decouples the original communication module into protocol and bus modules, while establishing an object-space mapping relationship between the protocol side and message bus side to enable fast indexing of inter-object data access. When adapting to new message bus protocols, only the corresponding bus adaptation module needs development and replacement, without modifying the device protocol module—enhancing module reusability. Given the high development complexity of device protocol modules, reusing these heavy-duty modules and swapping lightweight bus adaptation modules can significantly reduce development costs, enabling seamless switching between message bus protocols.
