Hydraulic and Control Logic Optimization of Governor Based on Dual Proportional Valves and Servo Motors
-
Abstract
Currently, most hydroelectric power station governor systems in China adopt an electro-hydraulic control method using dual proportional valves or dual motors as executive components, regulating guide vanes through electrical signals. With the advancement of smart hydropower development, the control performance requirements for turbine governors have significantly increased. Traditional dual proportional valve and dual motor control modes exhibit notable shortcomings under varying operating conditions and environments. Therefore, on the basis of the existing hydraulic circuit control at Yinpan power station, an AC servo motor was added and redundantly combined with dual proportional valves to improve control logic. The control principles and coordination methods are elaborated in detail, effectively enhancing the stability and reliability of the governor's hydraulic control.
