Research on Inspection Path Planning of Overhead Transmission Lines
-
Abstract
To enhance the inspection efficiency of overhead transmission lines, optimize resource allocation, and address the inherent limitations of manual inspections as well as the electromagnetic constraints faced by drone inspections, research on inspection path planning was conducted. Using the transmission corridor as edges and bus/load centers as vertices, an undirected weighted connected graph was constructed. Through the Floyd algorithm and 0-1 integer programming to handle singularities, an improved Fleury algorithm was employed to generate "shortest path with priority to risk" manual inspection routes. For drone inspections, safety distances were determined via electromagnetic field simulations, hover points were set based on camera visibility, and the ant colony algorithm was utilized for optimal traversal path optimization. Validation through relevant case studies and real-world scenarios confirmed the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed solutions, providing technical support for overhead transmission line inspections and significantly improving both inspection efficiency and safety.
