Design and Research of a Construction Site Power Consumption Monitoring System Based on Big Data
-
Abstract
As the scale of construction projects expands, temporary power systems at construction sites exhibit characteristics such as diverse equipment types and rapid load changes. Traditional manual inspection methods struggle to meet real-time monitoring requirements. To enhance the management of power consumption at construction sites, this paper proposes a big data-based power consumption monitoring system. By analyzing the environmental characteristics of construction sites and the influencing factors of temporary power usage, a cloud-edge collaborative architecture for the power monitoring system is constructed, and a field communication networking scheme is designed to achieve real-time collection and collaborative processing of multi-node power consumption data. Validation through a case study of a large commercial complex construction site demonstrates that the system can achieve stable monitoring and transmission of power consumption data at the construction site.
