Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Station Site Selection Optimization and Economic Analysis

  • For wind-solar hybrid power station site selection needs, a multi-objective optimization model covering power generation benefits, construction costs, and environmental impacts is built through resource assessment and site analysis. The analytic hierarchy process is used to determine indicator weights, geographic information system is applied for spatial zoning, and intelligent algorithms are combined to find the best plan. Results show that optimized site selection can increase annual power generation by 15.1%, reduce the investment payback period by 3.3 years, and raise the internal rate of return by 2.2 percentage points.
