Abstract
In transmission line construction, the double pulley suspension method must be employed when the pulley envelope angle exceeds 30 degrees or vertical loads surpass the maximum rated working load. The conventional tension tower suspension system involves installing single pulleys on both front and rear crossarms, with spacer rods maintaining proper spacing to prevent collisions. However, these spacer rods frequently fail during installation, causing conductor skipping and entanglement that compromise construction efficiency and safety. To address these issues, this study proposes an integrated double pulley structure for tension towers, effectively resolving spacer rod failures and conductor skipping. This innovative solution provides reliable technical support for conductor deployment, optimizing construction processes while reducing operational risks.
