Design of Electric Cutting and Insulating Integrated Device for Low Voltage Service Line
-
Abstract
Aiming at the problems of low efficiency, high safety risks, and poor consistency of insulation quality in the traditional pole-climbing manual cutting and insulating wrapping method for the replacement and modification of low-voltage service lines on the user side of the distribution network, an electric cutting and insulating integrated device for low-voltage service lines was designed. The device adopts a modular design concept and consists of three main parts: a cutting and clamping integrated device, a rapid liquid insulating tape wrapping device, and a lightweight carbon fiber insulating rod. It integrates innovative functions such as electric cutting, reliable aerial clamping, remote control, visual precise positioning, and rapid curing of liquid insulating tape, enabling operators to complete the entire process of "cutting-clamping-retracting-insulating wrapping" safely from the ground. The overall structure of the device, detailed design and material selection of each module, the principle of core function realization, and key technological innovations are elaborated. Test verification and field application show that the device can effectively cut aluminum or copper wires with a cross-section ≤35 mm2; after insulation wrapping, its power frequency withstand voltage value is ≥5 kV, and the insulation resistance is ≥30 GΩ; the single operation time is shortened from the traditional 30 min to within 12 min, with an efficiency improvement of over 66%; it completely eliminates the risks of falling from height and falling wire ends, and the insulation wrapping quality is uniform and reliable, significantly improving the safety, efficiency, and standardization of operation and maintenance in the low-voltage distribution network, possessing broad promotion and application value.
