Research on Tension Stringing Technology for Extra-high Voltage Transmission Lines in High-mountainous and Canyonous Areas

Abstract
Taking a 500 kV extra-high voltage transmission line project in a high-mountain and canyonous area of Henan as an example, this study thoroughly explores a comprehensive tension stringing construction solution integrating key technologies such as non-standard tensioning field layout, dynamic tension-arc sag coordination control, and power parachute-guided rope deployment. Engineering validation demonstrates the scheme's notable effectiveness in overcoming complex terrain conditions and ensuring construction safety and quality. It enables subconductor sag deviation control within ±80 mm, achieves a 100% qualified rate for 182 compression joints, and shortens the total construction period by approximately 18 days. This solution holds significant engineering application and promotion value for advancing power grid construction into complex terrain areas.
