Wind Farm Voltage Reactive Power Control Method Based on Improved Differential Evolution Algorithm

  • Simple rules-based regulation can only mechanically cope with fixed conditions, resulting in poor stability of voltage reactive power control. Therefore, a voltage reactive power control method for wind farms based on the improved differential evolution algorithm is proposed. The article first aims to reduce network losses and improve voltage stability, and constructs a multi-objective optimization function. Then, considering factors such as equipment capacity, node voltage, and reactive power balance, the constraints are clarified. Finally, the differential evolution algorithm is improved by adaptively adjusting parameters to achieve voltage reactive power control for the wind farm. Experimental results show that the research method proposed in this paper can effectively achieve reactive power control of the wind farm voltage, and the voltage fluctuation range is significantly smaller than that of the comparison method, improving the stability of voltage reactive power control.
