A Resistance Value Control Method for Grounding Systems in Desert Areas Based on Petroleum Coke Technology
-
Abstract
In view of the problem that the high soil resistivity and harsh environmental conditions in desert areas lead to excessive resistance values of grounding systems, making it difficult to ensure the safe operation of power equipment, this paper proposes a grounding system resistance value control method based on petroleum coke technology. Analyze the resistance value control requirements of the grounding system in desert areas, study the basic characteristics and modification technology of petroleum coke, focus on designing the topological structure of the grounding system, the resistance value control model and the control process, and conduct test verification through laboratory simulation of different desert environments. The results show that this control method can stably keep the resistance value of the grounding system below 10 Ω in different desert environments, with a resistance reduction rate of over 60%. It also has good erosion resistance and stability, and can effectively solve the problems of excessive resistance value and poor durability of the grounding system in desert areas.
