Research on New Power System Relay Protection Automation Control Based on Multi-Agent Technology
-
Abstract
In response to the challenge of traditional relay protection methods being difficult to adapt to complex operating conditions in new power systems, this paper proposes a research scheme for automatic control of relay protection in new power systems based on multi-Agent technology. By constructing a distributed collaborative control architecture that includes synchronous Agents, sampling Agents, state estimation Agents, and logical judgment Agents, the intelligent upgrade of the relay protection system has been achieved. The experimental results show that this method reduces the average recovery time of the system to 11.42 ms in step response scenarios, which is more than 50% higher than traditional methods; controlling the oscillation frequency within 3 times in the power angle oscillation scenario significantly improves the speed and reliability of the protection system. This method provides an effective automation solution for relay protection in new power systems.
