Analysis of Power Quality Assessment for Wind Farms with CO2 Energy Storage Projects

  • Regarding the impact of energy storage configuration in wind farms on the power quality at the grid connection point, this paper analyzes the main harmonic sources and harmonic characteristics of such project integrations, and identifies two typical operating conditions for wind farms equipped with carbon dioxide energy storage systems. Under these two typical conditions, the variation patterns of harmonics are examined, the changes in harmonic currents are compared, and the simulation methodology is summarized. Finally, by establishing a simulation model of the project, this study provides significant reference value for the power quality assessment of subsequent similar projects.
