Optimization Research on Robot Path Control Methods in a Digital Twin Environment

  • Digital twin technology provides a new technical approach for optimizing robot motion control in container manufacturing. A complete digital twin environment was constructed to address the collaborative operation requirements of KUKA, FANUC, Kawasaki, and CMA robots in processes such as bottom side beam notching, welding, forming, and painting. Through virtual environment simulation, a multi-robot collaborative motion control algorithm was designed. Experiments show that the optimized control method improves production efficiency by 23.5%, reduces energy consumption by 18.2%, increases welding quality stability by 15.8%, improves painting uniformity by 12.3%, and enhances space utilization by 20.1%.
