Research on PLC Simulation Technology Applications

To address the difficulty that university students and related engineering personnel face in learning PLC programming without practical training equipment, this paper takes two projects as examples: An 8-channel buzzer system and an automatic reciprocating control for a material handling cart. It uses TIA Portal HMI and Factory IO software to build a virtual training platform, adopts a hardware-software integrated debugging method for PLC program verification, which can effectively improve PLC programming efficiency and has certain promotional value.
