A Linear Speed Control Optimization Method for Feedwater Pump Steam Turbines Based on MEH Control

  • During the operation of thermal power units, the key to ensuring stable operation and performance enhancement lies in the speed control of the feedwater pump turbine. This paper conducts an in-depth analysis of the speed control strategy for the Dongqi MEH feedwater pump turbine and proposes a linear control method through the design of a variable slope optimization calculation approach. This method precisely controls the response rate of turbine speed regulation to ensure continuous and uniform supply of boiler feedwater, thereby effectively improving the load response capability of the unit. The feasibility and practical effectiveness of this method have been confirmed in the application of million-kilowatt units. Additionally, this approach can enhance the deep and rapid peak regulation performance of thermal power units and is applicable to similar units of the Dongqi feedwater pump turbine, providing valuable experience and reference for the technical optimization of the thermal power unit industry.
