Research and Application of Transmission Line Parameter Testing Technology

  • With the continuous increase of grid capacity and the higher and higher voltage levels, the rising of induced voltage in the process of line parameter measurement poses challenge to the personal safety of the testing personnel. However, the traditional method of line testing requires more testing equipment, and the testing power supply often needs to be provided by three-self-coupled transformer and large capacity isolation transformer, which is cumbersome to operate. In addition, the testing equipment is large in size and heavy in weight, which requires the cooperation lifting truck and is not convenient for field measurement, which also increases the cost of field measurement and the workload of workers. In this paper, an embedded controller MCU is used to a convenient, stable and reliable high-efficiency line parameter test device, which can measure various voltage levels of transmission lines simultaneously, such as positive and zero sequence, phase to phase line to ground and other related quantities. It is used to standardize the line parameter test before the grid is put into operation and the line parameter test of the operating line maintenance, solve the subjectivity of the grid to the line parameter test data record, to improve the efficiency of the transmission line parameter test and the line parameter test range of the grid in the line maintenance, and to ensure the personal safety of the testing personnel.
