Research and Simulation of Mechanical Characteristics of Propulsion Motors for Small Inland Tourist Boats

  • This article takes the propulsion motor of small inland river tourist boats as the research object, and conducts theoretical analysis and simulation research on its mechanical characteristics. Firstly, the basic theory of the mechanical characteristics of electric motors is elaborated, and the parameters expression of electromagnetic torque is derived. The inherent mechanical characteristics and artificial mechanical characteristics are analyzed. On this basis, simulation verification was conducted on three artificial mechanical characteristics: stator voltage reduction, rotor series resistance, and stator series resistance. Furthermore, mechanical characteristic simulation analysis was conducted for typical application scenarios such as direct starting, stator series resistance starting, voltage reduction speed regulation, and rotor series resistance speed regulation. The results indicate that adjusting the parameters of the electric motor can effectively improve the starting and speed regulation performance, and the research results can provide theoretical basis for the optimization design and operation control of the propulsion motor of small inland tourist boats.
