A Digital Twin-based Intelligent Inspection System and Quadruped Robetic Dog for Power Utility Tunnels

Abstract
This paper proposes an intelligent inspection system for quadruped robots based on digital twin technology. Taking a highly maneuverable bionic quadruped robot as the platform, the system integrates multi-source sensors, combines digital twin modeling and multi-modal data fusion technologies, and achieves the following functions: equipping a multispectral sensor array to realize three-dimensional detection of micro-defects on the cable surface; constructing a digital twin to achieve dynamic modeling of the utility tunnel environment; and deploying a lightweight AI diagnosis model to realize three-dimensional visual monitoring and intelligent analysis of the operational status of utility tunnel equipment.Practical application shows that the system significantly improves the inspection efficiency by 4.8 times, increases the fault diagnosis accuracy to 92.3%, and controls the false alarm rate below 3%, providing an intelligent solution for the safe operation of power utility tunnels.
