Analysis of Typical Telemetry Faults and Troubleshooting Countermeasures for Distribution Terminals

  • As a key component of the distribution network automation system, the accuracy of telemetry data from distribution terminals is crucial to the safe and stable operation of power systems. Based on daily operation and maintenance experience, this paper focuses on the research of telemetry faults in distribution terminals, and elaborates on the fault phenomena and causes of typical hardware faults in telemetry circuits (such as virtual connection of a single telemetry point circuit, misconnection of telemetry circuits, and virtual connection of telemetry common terminals) as well as typical software parameter faults in telemetry (such as incorrect configuration of inherent parameter anti-shake time and incorrect configuration of telemetry point table sequence). Corresponding step-by-step troubleshooting countermeasures are proposed. This paper aims to help maintenance personnel quickly locate and resolve telemetry faults, improve the operational stability of distribution terminals, and provide technical support for the automation operation and maintenance of distribution networks.
