Abstract
As key components in petrochemical enterprises, the operational longevity and reliability of steam turbines determine the smooth operation of both upstream and downstream devices within the company. The primary factor affecting the reliability of steam turbines is machine vibration. Increased vibration can cause significant harm to steam turbines, leading to minor issues such as equipment shutdown or, in severe cases, damage to the steam turbine unit itself. This paper summarizes the causes of steam turbine vibrations and analyzes them with practical examples, providing insights for the long-term operational stability of steam turbines.
