Stability Control Method for Renewable Energy Integration in 10 kV Distribution Systems

  • With the large-scale integration of renewable energy into 10 kV distribution systems, stability issues such as voltage violations and power flow fluctuations have become increasingly prominent. To address the limitations of traditional control methods in terms of insufficient responsiveness and poor coordination, this paper conducts an in-depth study on stability control strategies for renewable energy integration in 10 kV distribution systems. A hierarchical and coordinated control framework is proposed, incorporating an active power prior correction model and a voltage margin index, along with the design of inverter-based adaptive reactive regulation, storage-based damping compensation, and distributed cooperative updating strategies. Simulation results on an improved IEEE 33-bus system demonstrate that the proposed method effectively enhances end-node voltage, shortens over-limit durations, reduces network losses, and mitigates renewable energy output fluctuations.
