Testing and Analysis of Voltage Flicker Characteristics in the Terminal Weak Power Grid
-
Abstract
The Xinjiang region of China is rich in wind and solar resources, and the development of renewable energy generation is progressing rapidly. However, the volatility and intermittency brought by the large-scale integration of renewable energy pose challenges to the stable operation of the power grid. The power grid structure in the terminal areas of Xinjiang is relatively weak, exhibiting characteristics of a weak grid. At the same time, the integration of renewable energy generation and fluctuating loads further exacerbates voltage flicker. This paper takes the power grid structure of a specific area in Xinjiang as an example to conduct a comprehensive power quality test, and, in accordance with national standards, quantitatively evaluates and analyzes the voltage flicker caused by fluctuating power sources and traction loads, providing reliable data support for the stable operation of the power grid.
