Adaptive Tuning Method for Dynamic Windtimazer Parameters Based on Static Yaw Error Mapping

  • When adaptively tuning dynamic Windtimator parameters, if the mapping relationship between yaw error and Windtimator parameters is difficult to quantify, it will result in poor tuning performance of the method. To address this issue, a dynamic Windtimazer parameter adaptive tuning method based on static yaw error mapping is proposed. Collect operational data of wind turbines using SCADA system, and calculate the yaw error of the wind turbine by combining the real-time power value of the wind turbine. Then, construct a mapping function between yaw error and Windtimazer parameters (including power loss and pitch angle adjustment). Based on this, we first predict the real-time yaw error of the wind turbine, and then predict the specific values of the Windtimazer parameters. Then, by setting the torque gain parameter of the wind turbine, adaptive tuning of the Windtimazer parameters is achieved. The experimental results show that the designed method can control the power fluctuation range between 360~440 kW after parameter tuning, and the energy efficiency ratio is 70.33%, which has a wide range of application prospects.
