Research and Application of Pressure Control Strategy for Mother Unit Pipeline Network

  • The characteristic of mother-controlled thermal power units lies in the parallel connection of multiple boilers, steam turbines, and steam-using units to a single header. This operational mode creates severe coupling effects between boilers, steam turbines, and between steam-using units and boilers/turbines. Issues in any component can affect other parts, leading to frequent pressure fluctuations in the pipeline network and compromising chemical production safety. Starting from user load demands, this study investigates coordinated control strategies for mother-controlled units, achieving safe and stable operation under various steam pipeline pressure levels across full-load conditions. The findings provide a reference framework for coordinated control of similar units.
