Dynamic Analysis of the Turbine Spring Foundation and Shaft System in a Nuclear Power Plant

Based on the drawings and parameters of a nuclear power plant′s turbine-generator unit, this paper establishes a coupled finite element model of the spring foundation-bearing-rotor system. The modal analysis of the spring foundation and the critical speed of the rotor system were calculated successively. The mutual influence between the spring foundation and the rotor system under coupled conditions was analyzed.
