Analysis and Treatment of End Structure Loosening Fault in No.4 Generator at a Thermal Power Plant

This article introduces the problem of stator core looseness in a steam turbine generator that was discovered twice, mainly manifested as local looseness of the steam end core, fracture and detachment of the coupling screw of the excitation end air gap baffle, and loosening of the steam end positioning rib nut. Based on this incident, measures and suggestions for daily work are given to prevent such incidents from happening again.
