Fault Analysis and Optimization Strategy for 40.5 kV Switchgear Based on Finite Element Simulation
-
Abstract
This study delves deeply into the fault mechanisms of 40.5 kV cabinet-type gas-insulated metal-enclosed switchgear during operation. Through the disassembly of fault instances and finite element simulation analysis, it reveals the multi-dimensional factors of the faults. Aiming at these factors, comprehensive optimization strategies targeting key areas such as design, assembly, and transportation have been proposed. Prototypes built based on the latest strategies have undergone voltage endurance and lightning tests, successfully reducing the equipment failure rate.
