Practice of Harmonic Control Optimization in Advanced Water Treatment Project

Abstract
Nonlinear equipment such as frequency converters are widely used in advanced water treatment projects. The total harmonic distortion rate of current is very high. According to the parameters and calculation methods in the standard drawing set(11CD403), use active filter to control harmonic. During the actual test, it is found that there are deficiencies in the parameters and calculation methods in the standard drawing set(11CD403). For example, the typical THDi of water treatment project is low, harmonic elimination reactive power compensation cannot be put into operation, harmonic current will be amplified after active filter is put into operation. The standard drawing set(11CD403) need to be optimized. This paper proposes an optimization method. Harmonic current calculation method is used for harmonic treatment calculation.
