Analysis and Application of on Chip Resources for Common Microcontrollers in Smart Meters

This article takes the design of smart meters as the background and conducts in-depth analysis and exploration of commonly used single-chip resources. Firstly, the development status and application requirements of smart meters were introduced, followed by a detailed interpretation and analysis of the on-chip resources of microcontrollers, such as timers, serial communication interfaces, analog-to-digital converters, etc.. Furthermore, based on practical cases, the application methods and techniques of these on-chip resources in smart meters were discussed. Finally, the significance of rational utilization of on-chip resources in improving the performance and functionality of smart meters was summarized, and future development prospects were discussed.
