Design and Application of Intelligent Substation Interval Layer Five Protection Lockout Logic Tester

  • One of the most tedious and risky tasks in the construction, renovation, and expansion of smart substations is to verify the five proof locking logic of the measurement and control devices. Conventional verification methods not only consume time and effort, but also have drawbacks such as high security risks and insufficient testing. The substation interval layer five proof locking logic tester proposed in this article can build a closed-loop verification environment by importing the entire station SCD and interval layer five proof locking logic table. It automatically simulates the GOOSE simulation message of the position status of the relevant switch blades participating in the interval five proof locking logic to the measurement and control device, while also monitoring the locking(open) GOOSE operation message of the measurement and control device. According to the five proof logic rule table, it automatically determines whether the five proof locking logic of the measurement and control device is complete and correct.
