Analysis of Power Quality Assessment of Fluctuating Power Sources and Impulse Loads Connected to the Power Grid

  • Non-linear impulse loads, such as traction loads and polysilicon plant loads, are connected to the grid, which may cause power quality problems such as grid voltage deviation and harmonics, which in turn may cause adjacent users to go off-grid. In addition, taking into account the economic benefits and no environmental pollution of new energy field station access to the grid in large quantities, fluctuating power access also seriously affect the safe operation of the grid. Therefore, it is necessary to assess the power quality of fluctuating power sources and nonlinear impact loads in the power grid. This paper takes a certain grid structure as an example to carry out a comprehensive test of power supply quality, and with reference to the national standards, quantitative assessment and analysis of voltage deviation and harmonic indexes of fluctuating power sources and nonlinear impact loads are carried out to provide reliable data support for the stable operation of the grid.
