Optimization Method of EV Charging Pile Coverage Based on Artificial Bee Swarm Algorithm

  • In order to reasonably layout charging piles, improve the utilization rate of electric piles, and solve the problem of poor coverage of charging piles, the artificial bee colony algorithm is introduced to conduct a comprehensive analysis of multiple factors in its coverage area, and an optimization method for the coverage of electric vehicle charging piles based on the artificial bee colony algorithm is designed. A charging pile coverage model based on user selection was constructed, depicting the relationship between user demand and charging pile distribution. The optimization principle of artificial bee colony algorithm was integrated into it, and its intelligent search and iterative optimization capabilities were utilized to explore the optimal layout scheme, achieving optimization of electric vehicle charging pile coverage. The experimental results show that the optimized positions of the 10 test points are basically consistent with the ideal positions, and the proposed method has the effect of reasonably optimizing the layout of electric piles and developing the user utilization rate of electric piles. The reasonable layout have been achieved, which can effectively solve the current optimization problem of electric vehicle charging pile coverage.
