Diagnosis and Localization of Partial Discharge in SF6 Ring Cabinet with Multi-sensing Features

Abstract
There are various electromagnetic noises in the air chamber of medium-voltage SF6 ring cabinet, which may be misjudged as partial discharge signals during monitoring, resulting in false positives. By arranging multiple sensors to collect multi-source data of the ring network cabinet, and extract partial discharge signal features from the collected data, the real-time monitoring of partial discharge in the air chamber of the SF6 ring network cabinet is realized. The test results show that the false positive rate and false negative rate of the proposed method can be controlled within 1%, which proves that the proposed method can detect partial discharge phenomenon in time and improve the safety of medium-voltage SF6 ring network cabinet.
